Olli and Katie’s Saxo

OK, I didn’t actually rewire this car. I designed the team logo (in the middle of the bonnet), and cured a sluggish starting problem by making up some new, high capacity battery leads. Olli worked at The Splined Hub where I rent my workshop space. In return Olli and Katie did the 2018 Mongol Rally with huge Rupe’s Rewires stickers on their Saxo.

Needless to say, this resulted in a shedload of enquiries from Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia.

Olli and Katie went past Afghanistan on the way to Ulan Bataar, and headed back to the UK via Norway. What larks.
