The Rupe’s rewires workshop sits inside a classic Jaguar restoration shop in Oundle, Northants, called The Splined Hub. They are a great bunch of guys and girls, and they can turn a rusty basket case (complete with rat droppings and bullet holes) into a better-than-new E Type.

Part of that involves building a fresh body shell and making it gorgeous in their paint shop – an amazing process undertaken by the hugely experienced Paul and Azza. And the good news is they can now offer paintwork for bikes too.

The BSA tank in the pics wasn’t just painted; Azza pulled out the dents, welded up the vibration-induced cracks (using TIG bronze) and applied a POR15 tank sealer for good measure. Paul’s paintwork, in this case old English white and Laverda Mirage green, is absolutely superb.

If you need a classic motorcycle painting properly, give the boss Oliver a ring, Whatsapp or email. The website with his details is here.
