ETTO Motorcycles is back

Good news for anyone building a non-standard bike: custom fabrication shop ETTO Motorcycles is back in business. (It stands for Each To Their Own.) Boss Ian Davis has had to take a year away, but has re-opened his shop in the Nottinghamshire countryside. Whether you need a battery box or a custom petrol tank, he can make it.

Ian did all the frame mods for my John Robinson Enfield Meteor (see pic, by Chippy Wood), and built the gorgeous TRX850 cafe racer which I wired up years ago. In between he has welded, fitted and finagled stuff for the old Practical Sportsbikes magazine, and customers in Europe and the States. Suffice to say he knows one end of a TIG welder from the other. He’s also a ray of sunshine. which is a skill all of its own.

Etto Motorcycles: highly recommended.
